Travel in the UK – Backpacking to the Seaside

When it comes to enjoying your holidays in the UK, few can top the idea of traveling on the popular British seaside. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, it is always a delight to visit the UK seaside and enjoy all the rich sights and sounds that come with a British seaside holiday. It is a popular destination not just for families but young couples, newlyweds, and those ttravelingon their honeymoon trips. So what things should you keep in mind when planning your trip on the UK backpacking trails?

There are many routes in the UK where you can travel to the UK seaside. Some are better known as cycle highways, some are motorised, and others still have pedestrian footpaths. One thing is certain though. No matter which route you take, you will never be by the sea without your bike! For those who cycle, they are able to enjoy much more freedom than visitors who choose to drive or use public transport.

For people choosing the road, it is best to start their journey at Inverness. Once there, they can travel up the mountain towards Scotland and then along the west coast to their next destination, Ireland. This route allows visitors to explore many of the historic towns, castles and villages that are a part of Scotland’s landscape.

From Scotland, tourists can travel on to Ireland and explore the fascinating culture, landscapes of this country. The western part of Ireland is often referred to as the Golden Ring, because of its many picturesque mountain sides, sandy beaches and romantic countryside. It is also the location of some of the most beautiful cities in Ireland including Galway, Kerry and Cork. It is also home to some spectacular mountains including the Killdeer and Benagh.

If you want to experience an even more spectacular holiday, you can visit the UK seaside towns of towed and Cromer. Towsay is a market town on the strand not far from the town of Inverness and it is a popular resort with families. Cromer is an outlying village and many tourists come here to enjoy the beautiful scenery that is scattered across the countryside. There are various other villages including Bangor, Fowey and Annan. All of these towns are very popular and offer excellent facilities for those wishing to travel to the UK seaside.

Scotland is a fantastic country to go on a holiday. It offers amazing scenery, some of the finest hotels and great nightlife and a plethora of activities for every visitor. It is possible to enjoy a backpacking trip to the UK, no matter what your skill level is. No matter where you choose to stay, there are plenty of activities and guided tours available. These include everything from wildlife life, historical sites and coastal areas to shopping, art galleries and great restaurants.
